With a night that’s all about love, it’s only fitting to catch a show about it too. Caught between the love of her life and love after death, Eurydice is faced with the ultimate choice: return to her husband in the land of the living or stay with her adoring Father in the Underworld. The re-imagining of this ancient myth is fit for a modern age, with music by composer Matthew Aucoin and libretto by playwright Sarah Ruhl. Make your reservation no later than 6:00 p.m. to fill up on Chef Jean-Pierre Bosc’s three-course menu before catching Eurydice upstairs at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Prefer a late supper and a night cap? Classic French favorites favorites like Capital Oysters, Steak Frites, Beef Bourguignon, and more will be served until 11:00 p.m.
